Pumpkin

PumpkinsEdit

Storage: Store winter squash and pumpkins around 50 degrees and in a dry environment for best storage. They can be put in the fridge short-term, but will suffer cold damage after a few weeks.

Uses: Pumpkins can be used interchangeably with winter squash. The flesh is usually slightly less rich flavored, so works well in highly spiced dishes. To make puree, either bake then peel or peel and cube, then steam.
