Storage: Removing the leaves from the bulb will extend the storage life of kohlrabi. The leaves can be stored separately in a storage bag that prevents dehydration in the fridge. The bulbs should also be stored in a bag in the crisper. They store well since the waxy skin prevents shriveling.

Uses: Generally kohlrabi needs to be peeled before use. Raw kohlrabi is sweet and crunchy like broccoli stems and can be sliced for crudites or grated for slaw. Cooked kohlrabi has a mild flavor and cooks through quickly. Use in stir fries and stews.
